KSRTC to operate 2000 additional buses in Bengaluru for long weekend travel during Diwali.
To ensure Diwali is truly a ‘Happy Diwali’ for Bengalureans, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has made arrangements for 2000 extra buses from Bengaluru to several other cities. KSRTC To Arrange 2000 Additional Buses For Diwali In Bengaluru
As per a report by Deccan Chronicle, KSRTC will operate additional buses from Bengaluru on the occasion of Diwali from October 30 to November 1. Later special buses will operate from intra and interstate places in Karnataka to Bengaluru from November 3 to 4. The report further states that KSRTC will run special buses from Bengaluru Kempegowda Bus Station to various other cities including spiritual destinations near Bengaluru.

- Ballari
Moreover, special buses will exclusively run from Mysuru Road Bus Station to Hunsur, Virajpet, Mercara, Kushalanagar and Piriyapatna. Premiere special buses will operate from BMTC Bus Station to Madurai, Chennai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Thrissur, Calicut, Ernakulam, Kumbakonam and other places in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
